We filed an objection to the NYPD’s proposed body-worn camera policy, together with the Leadership Conference, the Center for Media Justice, Color Of Change, and other civil rights and civil liberties organizations. We stated our deep concerns about the NYPD's updated Body-Worn Cameras Operations Order, and we provided guidance for the NYPD to amend the order in line with national best practices and critical civil rights protections.
