Tinuola Dada is a Policy Analyst at Upturn. She’s previously held research positions at Access Now, the ACLU’s National Prison Project, and Stanford’s Digital Civil Society Lab. As an undergraduate, she co-authored “Blockchain and Machine Learning Usage for Human Rights Documentation: An Examination of Technical, Legal and Practical Considerations,” which was selected for presentation at the Inaugural ACM Symposium on Computer Science and Law. At Upturn, her work focuses on law enforcement use of technology and the role of digital records in housing access.

Tinuola holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University, where she specialized in Social Development and Human Well-Being. She is passionate about prison abolition and cooking.
